Len Boudreault is an Ottawa-based senior associate of Policing & Security Management Services Inc.  who has an extensive background in operational and administrative policing and security. Upon completion of a 25-year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Len led the public safety and parking team at Carleton University. As the Director of Safety, he managed a combined special constable and security guard organization as well as directing the parking program for the university. Len was a provincial representative for colleges and universities on the steering committee for the reorganization of Ontario provincial security legislation, Bill 159 - The Private Security and Investigative Services Act.          

In his capacity as a senior manager, Len provided security advice and recommendations to senior management on issues of parking and parking enforcement, criminal and civil law, labour relations, protection of property and personal safety.  He was involved in internal investigations, which often had significant impact on the public perception of the organization, and was a significant liaison with the local and federal policing organizations representing the interests of his employer. 

Len is a graduate of Carleton University with an undergraduate degree in law, a graduate of the Canadian Police College Senior Police Administrative Course, and successfully completed the requirements of the Executive Development Training Institute through the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and Notre Dame University.  He has also successfully completed courses in Incident Command, Emergency Response Planning and holds a diploma in Police Management Studies.  He is a qualified security analyst and has conducted threat and risk assessments in high-risk environments.  Len also served three years with the Canadian Security and Intelligence Services.   His professional affiliations have included: associate member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, Canadian Parking Association, Ontario Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans Association.
