Peter Campbellis a senior associate with significant experience in executive management, operational command, policy development and organizational redesign.  Peter’s distinguished career in public safety and security includes positions as Chief of the Halton Regional Police Service in Oakville, Ontario and Deputy Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police. Senior executive responsibilities included providing leadership to over 4,500 people and overseeing budgets in excess of $300 million. Earlier in his career, Peter was responsible for major crime investigations.

Peter has been involved in a number of national and international projects and consulting assignments, including public safety initiatives in First Nations communities, the organizational review of a major police organization in the Middle East, and the review and the evaluation of inmate issues for Correctional Services of Canada. He has designed, developed and delivered workshops for senior police executives in Canada, Slovakia, and Tanzania.  Through the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, Peter was involved in a project to address public scrutiny, pressure or criticism faced by police executives as a result of public safety matters deemed to have been mishandled.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.  He is a life member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police.  Peter is also former chair of the strategic planning committee of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
