Stan Staff has a breadth and depth of extensive senior management experience in public safety and security at both the operational and administrative levels. Following a distinguished career in policing in the Toronto area that culminated as a senior-ranking officer with the Peel Regional Police, Stan served as national director of security for an international armoured car company. Skills and competencies include complex investigative oversight, high-risk management analysis, security audits, labour dispute management, human resource development, senior project management, incident command, emergency preparedness, and emergency operations centre coordination.

Stan’s senior management experience ranges from senior police liaison officer with a regional health care facility, restructuring offender transportation and security at one of Canada’s busiest courthouses, integrating advanced security systems with security personnel protecting high-risk assets, to managing major labour disputes across Canada. As a senior team member, Stan currently conducts safety and security audits across a range of sectors including government, health care, universities, and the private sector.

Stan is a graduate of the Canadian Police College Executive Development Course, the Ontario Police College and has completed numerous specialized investigative courses. In addition, he holds certificates in Police Science and Police Management and has pursued studies in sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Stan’s professional affiliations include the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the Canadian Society for Industrial Security (CSIS Inc.), and ASIS International.
